What is Tree Adventures?

Tree Adventures is Auckland�s favourite outdoor high-wire experience. Set just 35 minutes drive from Auckland City, we provide an unforgettable adventure for all ages.

With 10 courses ranging from 2-14m above ground in Auckland�s sprawling, Woodhill forest, there�s an option for everyone, from hardened adrenalin junkies to the height-averse who just fancy a leisurely climb.

After being suited up and shown the ropes, you�ll go at your own pace, swinging, climbing, jumping and swinging through the forest canopy as you take in the sights, challenge yourself and breathe in the fresh air. You�ll leave the experience feeling exhilarated, confident and closer to those you get to share it with. There�s really nothing like it.

Lasting between 2-3 hours, you can relax before and after the course in our sheltered area or outdoor picnic tables, making it the perfect opportunity to spend some time outdoors. Bring your own snacks and drinks, and enjoy the post-climb debrief while you�re still buzzing from the climb.

What To Expect
So you�ve had the quick rundown, but what exactly can you expect on the day? Whether you�re in a corporate group or just a casual party, you�ll be welcomed to the park and guided through the process by our awesome team members. They�ll be there to answer any questions, keep everyone safe, happy and enjoying themselves on the day.

Here�s what you can expect when you arrive:

Welcome
When you arrive, you�ll head over to our kiosk where you�ll sign in, meet our staff and given a quick rundown of what�s in store. This is a great opportunity to take in the course, see other climbers enjoying themselves and chat to those who have just finished theirs!

Safety Equipment Fitting
With your group ready, it�s time for your safety equipment fitting. Everyone will be fitted with a harness and helmet by our staff and asked to read the course rules.

Safety Demonstration
When you�re all fitted and ready to go, our team will lead you through a safety demonstration where you�ll be able to familiarise yourself with the course and how everything works.

Climb
Now the real fun starts. Depending on which adventure option you�ve chosen, you�ll be free to enjoy and explore the adrenalin forest course at your own pace, with the average session taking about 2.5 hours to complete. This will also depend on the number of other climbers and your skill level.

Break
If you�d like a break, no problem. Each short course ends with an exhilarating flying fox ride back to the ground, so you can take a breather and watch the other climbers �til you�re ready to get back into it.

Course Completion and Equipment Return
When the course is complete, you can return your gear, then head out to the leisure area to enjoy your own snacks and drinks, take in the sights and discuss the climb.
